Lavrov reveals the truth about the illness of Russian President Vladimir Putin

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has denied speculation that President Vladimir Putin is ill, saying there are no signs of any illness.

In response to a question about this from the French "TF1" station, Lavrov said: "I do not think that rational people can see in this person signs of illness or illness."

Lavrov indicated that Putin, who will turn 70 next October, appears in public on a daily basis.

"You can see him on screens, read and listen to his speeches," he added in comments published by the Russian Foreign Ministry, adding: "I leave it to the conscience of those who spread these rumors."
