The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the registration of three new cases of “monkeypox” in the country, according to the policy followed by health authorities for early monitoring and investigation of the disease.

The Ministry confirmed that monkeypox is a contagious viral disease, but the ways of its spread are limited compared to the “Covid-19” virus, and the most prominent ways of transmission of infection from one person to another is through contact with body fluids and respiratory droplets, contact with skin lesions of an infected person, and contact with surfaces contaminated with the fluids of the infected person or through contact with the infected person.
