On May 26, local time, an explosion at a biodiesel plant in La Rioja, northern Spain, killed two people.
Since the fire caused by the explosion may spread to surrounding warehouses, the local government has asked personnel to evacuate the industrial park where the factory is located, and has extended the security alert range to 1 km away from the explosion point.
Spanish police said the blast forced about 250 children to evacuate the area.
The report did not say whether anyone was injured in the accident.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
