Iran's elite troops and Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Middle East have announced that they have captured two Greek-flagged oil tankers in the Persian Gulf.

Iranian media reports that the Iranian-registered tanker was a retaliation for the earlier capture by Greek authorities.

Iran's elite military and revolutionary defense forces announced on the 27th that they had captured two Greek-flagged oil tankers in the Persian Gulf.

Local media reported earlier this month that Greek authorities had worked with the United States to seize an Iranian-flagged oil tanker in the Mediterranean, and the Iranian Foreign Ministry had accused the United States and Greece.

The US government has seized Iranian oil at sea in the past for violating sanctions.

"It's a clear message to the West. If you touch Iran's oil and assets, you'll pay for it," the state media said in an expert opinion about Iran's capture. I'm telling you how to look.

Meanwhile, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Iran of "behaving like piracy" and called for the immediate release of the two captured tankers and crew.
