“Today, the lead frigate of Project 22350 Admiral Gorshkov of the Fleet of the Soviet Union fired a Zircon hypersonic cruise missile at a sea target position in the White Sea from the Barents Sea,” the report says.
The missile successfully hit a sea target located at a distance of about 1000 km.
It is noted that the flight of the Zircon corresponded to the specified parameters.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to the President on the successful firing of the Tsirkon hypersonic missile from a frigate of the Northern Fleet in the White Sea.
