The "epidemic command center" of the Taiwan authorities announced on May 26 that there were 81,907 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, including 81,852 local cases; 104 new deaths were confirmed among the confirmed cases.

The death cases announced on the same day were 56 males and 48 females, all of which were severe infections.

Of these, 97 had a history of chronic medical conditions and 49 were unvaccinated.

Taiwan has fully implemented the "quick test positive is confirmed" policy since the 26th. If the public is positive in the quick test, it can be regarded as a confirmed case after being identified by a doctor.

Except for special circumstances, there is no need to do nucleic acid testing, and follow-up drugs will be administered as soon as possible according to relevant circumstances.
