With only weeks left of the last semester of high school, Eddy Isaksson, together with others from the student committee, has planned this year's student celebration.
For those born in 2003, this will be the first time they have completed a joint school leaving.
- There was no school graduation either in year one or two.
We only had a regular lesson that turned into summer vacation, says student Eddy Isaksson.
During the year, the committee has planned activities for all graduating classes.
Among the last things that happen is the prom and the flat skiing to look forward to.
- We also had a mouse hunt last Friday when we had dinner together, it was very fun, says Eddy Isaksson.
Tough during the pandemic
During the pandemic, students have studied a lot at a distance, which has been a struggle for many.
There was another adjustment when the restrictions eased and the students had to come back again.
- Since I live outside Strömsund, it has been nice to sleep in the morning.
But you have not had any routines or motivation to work, so it was nice to come back, says Eddy Isaksson.
