Question store with an axe to rob!

How to prevent theft and robbery when a Chinese opens a store?

Recently, in the province of Naples, Italy, a 40-year-old robber broke into a Chinese store with an axe and asked the owner to hand over the income of the day.

Fortunately, the gendarmerie patrol of the police station was patrolling not far from the Chinese store at the time.

They noticed some customers running out of the store and went inside to check.

The gendarmerie disarmed the robbers and handcuffed them.

The looting of Chinese shops is nothing new.

Moreover, now the tricks and tactics of thieves are more and more.

In April, in Flushing, New York, USA, a thief entered a Chinese bridal shop on the grounds of renting a suit, and sneaked into the office of the bridal shop without the clerk noticing, opened the safe, and stole multiple cameras and lens.

The owner of the bridal shop said it was their second burglary this year.

In mid-February this year, the bridal shop experienced burglary, cash, cameras, computers and other items were stolen.

Some thieves also take advantage of children's mentality that they are not easily suspected, and let children "assist" in stealing.

According to the Argentine Chinese Network, a woman in Argentina used her daughter as a cover to commit theft.

Once, she led her 7-year-old daughter into a Chinese store in Buenos Aires and stuffed the items on the shelves into her daughter's schoolbag.

However, her theft was filmed throughout the store because of surveillance cameras.

Stealing is the main loss of property, and some Chinese stores may face a more dangerous situation.

Also in Argentina, the owner of a Chinese supermarket encountered a robber with a gun.

Not only was the property robbed, but the body was also injured.

It is understood that two masked robbers armed with guns broke into the supermarket.

The robbers rushed to the cashier, threatening the cashier to tell where the money was put.

The cashier told the robbers that the cash register only had 3,000 pesos (the name of the Argentine currency, the same below).

Later, the robbers found movement in an office in the supermarket, and found the Chinese shopkeeper inside.

Faced with the coercion of the robbers, the shopkeeper opened the door of the office.

After the robbers stormed into the office, they beat the shopkeeper several times and demanded that he hand over a large sum of cash.

In the end, the robbers stole 2 iPhones and about 50,000 pesos in cash and fled the scene.

All kinds of situations have caused the Chinese people to be troubled, and they have come up with various ways to deal with them.

The husband of a Chinese shop owner in New Zealand chose to live in the shop at night to prevent anyone from entering the shop and committing crimes.

It is understood that the Chinese shop owner is now 55 years old. She and her husband open a bar in Auckland, New Zealand.

Between November 2021 and April 2022, her pub has been robbed five times, with losses estimated to total NZ$50,000.

Her husband stayed in the store all night, racket in hand to prevent thieves from entering, and kept an eye on surveillance.

  How to prevent robbery incidents?

What to do in the event of a robbery?

These have become issues that Chinese shop owners have to consider.

In the daily business process, Chinese shop owners can put cash registers, safes and other valuables in relatively concealed places, and install alarm devices and 24-hour surveillance cameras in obvious locations in the store to warn people with illegal intentions.

In order to make it difficult for thieves to enter after the store is closed, the store owner can also install doors and windows with better anti-theft performance on the storefront, or power grids, iron fences, etc., to be prepared.

If you really encounter thieves or robbers, Chinese shop owners must keep calm, protect their own personal safety first, and avoid disputes or physical conflicts with criminals and cause harm to themselves.

Secondly, property can be given as appropriate to allow criminals to leave as soon as possible.

In this process, it is necessary to try to remember the physical characteristics of the criminals, the model of the vehicle and the license plate number of the driving, so as to provide clues for the subsequent solving of the case.

Timely reporting to the police is also very important.

A sheriff of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that after many businesses were smashed and robbed, they did not report to the police until the next day, which was very unfavorable for the police.

Therefore, once the store encounters a robbery incident, the store owner should call the police in time and inform the police of the detailed incident process to assist the police in solving the case as soon as possible.
