“In order to save the life and health of the plant’s personnel, as well as due to the need to evacuate employees and their families, PJSC Donbasenergo decided to stop the operation of Slavyanskaya TPP on May 27, 2022,” the message says.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, located on the territory of the Russian-controlled city of Energodar, would continue to operate.
