With the Ascension Bridge, many tourists are present on the terrace, on the beaches to enjoy this weekend.

Despite fairly gray weather over a large part of France, holidaymakers intend to relax during this long weekend.

REPORTAGE

The weather is gray for part of France for this Ascension weekend.

This does not prevent tourists from being there and going to the sea. Our reporter went to Pornichet, in the Loire-Atlantique department, where holidaymakers are there.

"We want to have fun and go for a walk"

At the entrance to the Pornichet market, Matthias opens the oysters at full speed.

"There will be about fifty, between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., before we don't have time. On average, what is more in demand is number three".

Three, four, hollow, flat.

The oysters go at full speed.

Blame it on a particularly busy weekend: "This weekend, there are a lot of people with the bridge", smiles Mathias.

This is the only bridge this month of May.

Some have decided to take advantage of it like Patrick.

This Parisian comes to take his dose of iodine until Sunday.

"Next door, we took oysters from Larmor-Baden, number two, big ones. We want to have fun and go for a walk".

Morale is high

Ballads, seafood and beach for many, this is the winning combination of the weekend.

Testimonials are pouring in: "we did a lot of cycling", says a woman.

"Despite a sun that was not bright, we had a great time," adds another passerby.

Morale remains high.

As for the oysters, advice to the amateurs with this strong influx, you should not hang around to buy them and especially to taste them once opened!
