The Allons Enfants party will try to have a first deputy in 2022, after a first attempt in the legislative elections of 2017. Its members want to bring a fresh wind to French politics where only two deputies and one senator are under 30 years old.

The ambition is a better representation of young people in the institutions.

"We needed to create a separate party and not be in the parties because when we started to ask ourselves the question of the generational gap in all the elective institutions, we understood that it was the traditional parties that were responsible for this gap.

They systematically fail to employ young people, to propose a political renewal,” said Pierre Lehembre, president of Allons Enfants.

Eight candidates – in Gard, Paris, Bas-Rhin, Vendée, etc.

– were invested by Allons Enfants for the 1st round of the legislative elections.
