Volodin spoke about the failed attempts of the US and the EU to isolate Russia

According to him, the United States has lost the support of the majority in the world.

Volodin explained that the latest votes held at the United Nations show that countries that do not support the United States represent the majority of the world's population.

He also explained that more often than not, “there are actually a minority behind decisions taken at the UN by a majority of votes.”

The speaker of the lower house of the Russian parliament believes that US President Joe Biden seeks to reform the UN in order to "hold the position of the United States."

“All attempts by Washington and Brussels to isolate Russia have failed,” Volodin said.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that anti-Russian sanctions are an attempt to maintain the illusion of dominance of the United States and the entire West in the world.
