Igor Kirillov, Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, announced this at a briefing.
“Specialists of the Russian Ministry of Defense have confirmed the fact that Ukrainian biological laboratories are connected to the system of global control over the spread of infectious diseases,” he said.
Kirillov noted that the network has been formed by the Pentagon since 1997, it includes laboratories of the ground forces and naval forces, as well as military bases located in different regions of the world.
Earlier, former US President George W. Bush confirmed that biological laboratories operated in Ukraine as part of the Pentagon program.
On May 16, the co-chairman of the commission from the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, said that the parliamentary commission on biolaboratories had received confirmation that the United States and Ukraine were not complying with the ban on the development of biological weapons.
