  According to Portuguese radio reports, Zhou Zhuohua was charged with establishing a criminal group, illegal gambling, and money laundering. Among them, the crime of establishing a criminal group has a maximum sentence of 12 years.

Other suspects were also charged with participating in a criminal group, among other counts.

  On November 29 last year, Zhou Zhuohua and four other people were taken into custody by the judge of the Criminal Prosecution Court. It has been about half a year since he returned to the court. At that time, a total of 11 people were involved in the case and were investigated.

It is reported that there are 21 defendants in the current case, excluding Chen Ronglian, the former chairman and executive director of Dejin Group, who was arrested in January this year. He has not yet been charged.

  According to the relevant provisions of the Macao Criminal Procedure Code, a complaint must be filed within 6 months in case of detention, and it can be extended to 8 months for specific serious crimes.
