According to the document, Russian companies will be able to settle payments in favor of a number of copyright holders in rubles.

Payment will be made through a “special ruble account of type “O”.

It is noted that companies will retain the right to use intellectual property on the same terms for payments in rubles.

Earlier, the media reported that the Russian authorities plan to introduce a new temporary procedure for the fulfillment of obligations under license contracts to copyright holders from unfriendly countries.
