Putin: There is no basis for accusations against Russia in connection with the food crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that blaming Russia for the disruption in the world's grain supplies due to its military campaign in Ukraine was "unfounded", during a telephone conversation with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.

The Kremlin said in a statement that "Vladimir Putin stressed that attempts to blame Russia for the difficulties in delivering agricultural products on world markets are baseless."
