The accident happened in Arvika municipality last winter when the worker was about to dismantle a telephone pole that fell on him.
This caused him, among other things, to suffer fractures in his head and crush injuries to his brain.
According to a criminal injunction from a work environment crime at the Public Prosecutor's Office, the employer has breached its diligence by not making a good enough risk assessment before the work was carried out.
After the accident, the company has made a risk assessment with a work instruction on how to work when removing poles.
