Emmanuel Macron had promised it during the between two rounds of the presidential election: "

his policy will be ecological or will not be

 ".

The energy renovation of 700,000 homes in 5 years is one of the main measures of Emmanuel Macron's program.

Yet on May 1, just days after his re-election, aid to finance the insulation of buildings decreased by 20 to 58% depending on the type of work carried out.

Two days later, another bad signal to the European Parliament this time.

While elected environmentalists hoped for a ban on bottom trawling in marine protected areas, a particularly destructive technique, an LREM deputy and his Renew group managed to limit this ban to the most threatened areas only.

The government

is no exception.

The very day after a trip by the Prime Minister, devoted to biodiversity, the first text signed by the Ministers for Ecological Transition and Agriculture suspends the ban on crushing and mowing fallow land.

However, they are recognized as refuges for many species.

Beginnings decried therefore, by certain defenders of the environment.

Latest controversy to date, the departure this week of the former chief of staff of the Minister of Agriculture, left to join the pesticide lobby.
