"The purpose of the companies is thus to deceive customers and by maintaining fraudulent operations also be able to secure large amounts from several different authorities," writes the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

According to the authority, these are benefits such as root and square deductions, employment support and sick pay compensation.

It appears in a lawsuit that Försäkringskassan has submitted to the district court.

Suspected of systematic cheating

SVT Nyheter Skåne revealed in the summer of 2021 that the brothers' companies won procurements in several Skåne municipalities with the help of forged documents.

After the revelation, the municipalities broke the agreements.

Now the Swedish Social Insurance Agency claims in its investigation that the companies have systematically and for a long time provided incorrect information.

Therefore, the authority wants to secure SEK 614,538 in the brothers' three companies.

These are the garden companies Bosab (now FMAS Anläggning snickeri service AB), Mitt trädgård and Lomma trädgård (now MSA Service entreprenad skötsel AB).

The companies are run by the six Fakhro brothers who were also behind the famous Sularps farm outside Lund.

Försäkringskassan fears that the brothers will hide the money if the assets are not seized temporarily, a so-called attachment.

On Friday, Malmö District Court gave the Swedish Social Insurance Agency the right to dispose of SEK 416,000 from Lomma Garden.

Decisions on the other companies have not yet been made.

Also being investigated by the Swedish Public Employment Service

The Swedish Public Employment Service is also currently investigating suspicions of incorrect payments to the various garden companies, according to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

These are employees who in several cases have not received an agreed salary or salary at all, at the same time as the companies have received employment support.

In some cases, the company continued to take out employment support, even though the employee left.

According to information to SVT Nyheter Skåne, the companies have received at least 3.7 million in various support from the Swedish Public Employment Service in recent years, including for start-up jobs.
