Nehammer noted that Putin had given assurances that all deliveries would be fully respected.

“I pointed out to him that if Gazprom does not use the gas storage, it will lose it, it will be made available to other energy suppliers,” Nehammer told reporters, his words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Nehammer has previously noted that the Austrian authorities may take the gas storage facility in Salzburg from Gazprom if the company does not fill it.
