“There are no plans to use military, military resources or assets of the United States to assist in the movement of grain outside of Ukraine,” he said, according to TASS.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden said that Ukraine was studying ways to return 20 million tons of grain from Ukrainian storage facilities to the world market.
EU diplomat Josep Borrell also said the European Union would help Ukraine empty its grain storage facilities to, he said, make room for a new crop.
Maxim Oreshkin, aide to the President of Russia for economic affairs, expressed the opinion that what America is trying to do with Ukraine - to take out grain stocks - is "another action that dooms Ukraine to serious humanitarian problems."
