“It is premature to talk about the results of consideration of the appeal,” the press service of the ministry said to RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa, sent a letter of resignation to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa amid the economic crisis and protests in the country.
The President accepted the resignation.
