The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 25 while a tram was moving along Iron Division Street.
According to kp.ru, there was a conflict between children, among whom was the deceased, and adult passengers in the tram.
First, an elderly man asked the teenagers to be quieter, and then hit the child in the face.
Then two more men joined in.
The conflict escalated into a fight, during which the minor fell, hit his head and lost consciousness.
The boy was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
As reported on the official website of the regional investigative department, they are now looking for participants in the conflict.
