Fierce competition in the Swedish Championships
One of Sweden's best rally drivers is Mattis Olsson from Lessebo, who competes in the R5 class, which is the highest class in the Swedish Championships.
He recently took home the overall victory in the Silver Rat together with the map reader Timmy Berntsson.
- It is always nice to have a victory with us even if we did not have the same resistance in that competition, says Mattis Olsson.
What do you think about the competition in this weekend's SM competition?
- It is big, very big.

Big folk festival in the forests of Småland
The organizers believe that this weekend's competitions will attract a large audience.
It is estimated that between 20,000-25,000 people will go out into the forests of Småland to watch the rally.
- We will not have any opportunity to count them, so it is an estimate, says competition leader Kjell-Åke Jönsson.
Swedish Championship driver Mattis Olsson is also looking forward to this weekend's folk festival.
- Get up from the sofa and out into the woods to cheer on us, he urges.
This weekend, map reader Maja Bengtsson, 17, from Virestad, will also compete in the South Swedish Rally.
