As Interfax reports with reference to the data bank of the Federal Bailiff Service, the enforcement proceedings to recover from Google 7.2 billion rubles of a turnover fine and 505 million rubles of a performance fee have been terminated.

The agency clarifies that this indicates the repayment of the debt by the company.

At the same time, the FSSP and Google did not comment on this situation.

On May 1, it was reported that a case was initiated against Google for the enforcement of a turnover fine of 7.2 billion rubles for a systematic refusal to remove content prohibited in Russia.

In December 2021, a court imposed a turnover fine on Google in the amount of more than 7.2 billion rubles for the systematic failure to remove prohibited information.
