Igor Dodon said that the group of prosecutors in the case against him is “managed by the US Embassy”

“My case is handled by a group of 53 prosecutors, investigators and other professionals, which is managed by the US Embassy with the consent of President Maia Sandu.

This is a political case with the aim of neutralizing the opposition,” Dodon told reporters after the court session.

On May 26, a court in Chisinau decided to place former President of Moldova Igor Dodon under house arrest for 30 days.

Dodon himself said that the case against him is a political order of the current head of the republic, Maia Sandu.
