Two 18-year-olds were indicted on Tuesday for acts of torture and barbarity, we learned from the Lorient prosecutor's office.

They are suspected of having violently assaulted a 25-year-old young man on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

The alert was given around 4 a.m. by a young woman who reported to the police that her companion was being violently beaten by two individuals in an apartment.

On the spot, the police and the emergency services found the victim prostrate and covered in blood.

The young man had "numerous lesions and wounds, some of which were visibly caused by stabbing", specifies the prosecution, evoking "a scene of extreme violence".

The individual was rescued and hospitalized.

Suffering from multiple fractures and lesions and various bloody wounds, he escaped with a total incapacity for work for fourteen days.

Shortly after, the two alleged attackers were arrested and taken into custody.

According to the Lorient prosecutor's office, the attack would be linked "to a previous relationship dispute between the protagonists".

In front of the investigators, the two young people recognized “quite generally their participation in the facts”.

After their indictment, they were temporarily imprisoned.
