At a help center in Uppsala, Ukrainian refugees are offered various types of support.

Svitlana Skrytska went there to learn English and Swedish, but soon she realized that she also wanted to help.

She decided to bring out the scissors and offer free haircuts to Ukrainian refugees.

- I worked as a hairdresser in Ukraine.

I have received many inquiries because it is quite expensive to get a haircut in Uppsala, says Svitlana Skrytska.

Fully booked in minutes

Svitlana Skryska's ad on Facebook has received many comments and it only took a few minutes before the calendar was fully booked.

Therefore, she will offer additional haircuts in the coming days.

- You might think that it is not important to have a good hairstyle, but it is about self-confidence.

You want to forget that you are a refugee, says Kateryna Pavelko.
