On May 25, local time, the head of the Russian National Defense Command Center, Mizhantsev, said that Russia will open a humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea at 8:00 Moscow time on the 25th for the evacuation of foreign ships from the port of Mariupol.

The humanitarian corridor is 115 nautical miles long and 2 nautical miles wide.

  Mizhantsev said the humanitarian corridor will open only if the Russian navy has cleared the mines laid in the waters around the Mariupol port.

At present, the Russian side is restoring the infrastructure of the port.

  It is reported that a total of 70 ships from 16 countries are currently stuck in various ports in Ukraine.
