Russia bombs train stations in Ukraine

Russian forces announced that they launched an attack on an engine factory and several train stations in Ukraine, as part of an intense aerial bombardment launched on Tuesday/Wednesday night.

Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, said today, Wednesday, that high-precision missiles launched from the air and sea were used to destroy production units at the Motor Sich plant, which manufactures aircraft engines for the Ukrainian armed forces, including drones.

He added that a missile attack was launched on the railway station in Pokrovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region.

The goal was to transfer reservists to the Donbass region.

He said that attacks were launched on several command points and communication centers in the Bakhmut region, and a logistics center in the Soledar region.

In the meantime, he added, more than 300 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, as well as 46 military vehicles were damaged.
