British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has received the full inquiry into the Partygate scandal.
"We can confirm that Sue Gray has made her final report available to the Prime Minister," a spokesman for the central government agency, the Cabinet Office, said on Wednesday.
The top official Gray had been assigned by Johnson with the internal investigation.
Johnson was expected to comment on the report in Parliament around noon.
Multiple media outlets unanimously reported that senior government official Simon Case would neither step down nor be fired by Johnson.
Case is the Chief of Civil Service and is credited with being responsible for the tolerated culture of partying and drinking in Downing Street.
The report is eagerly awaited.
Gray had internally investigated several lockdown parties at government headquarters where corona rules were broken.
Because of police investigations, Gray had only published a greatly abridged report.
In it she accuses Downing Street of serious misconduct.
The London police have now issued more than 120 penalties against dozens of employees, and Johnson was also fined in one case.
The opposition and some MPs from Johnson's Conservative Party are calling for the prime minister to resign.
The 57-year-old politician has ruled this out so far.
Johnson also received support on Wednesday: This was not a key moment for the prime minister, Tory MP Charles Walker told the BBC.
