The People's Power continued the offensive, accusing candidate Lee Jae-myung, who ran for the National Assembly by-election in Gyeyang, Incheon, a week before the June 1 local elections with high intensity.

CEO Lee Jun-seok posted an article on Facebook today (25th) saying, "If you lose the election, your political life ends," along with the motion of Lee slitting his neck with his hand. This is not an action.”

He also pointed out, "In this election, we need to select someone who will develop Gyeyang from the perspective of the residents of Gyeyang. Please, I hope that there will be a rational election campaign."

Earlier, during a campaign in the constituency on the 23rd, Lee said to the citizens, "If you lose Lee Jae-myung this time, your political life will come to an end. It's real yo" and it is known that he said "queek" along with the motion of slitting his neck with his hand.

Kim Ki-hyun, chairman of the Joint Election Countermeasures Committee, also rebuked Kim Ki-hyun in a radio interview on the same day, saying, "As soon as Lee lost the presidential election, he said, "I would wear a bulletproof vest right away.

After yesterday's public apology by Park Ji-hyeon, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea's joint emergency countermeasures committee, Chairman Kim dismissed Lee's reaction as "sophistry", saying, "I fully agree with you, but be wary of extended interpretations."

Chairman Kim said, "I pretend to apologize for the election, but on the inside, it seems like an order like, 'I have nothing to apologize for, so don't shoot inside.'"

"If the Democratic Party is willing to sincerely apologize, the first step should be the resignation of the three presidential candidates: Lee Jae-myung, Seoul Mayor Song Young-gil, and Joint Vice Chairman Yun Ho-jung," he said.
