Abdullah bin Zayed meets German Vice Chancellor in Berlin.. Video

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met in Berlin, German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Robert Habeck.

During the meeting, they discussed the Emirati-German strategic relations, areas of cooperation and ways to enhance them in various aspects, especially trade, investment and climate, and work to open wider horizons for economic cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, including the file of global food and energy market stability and the importance of strengthening efforts to stimulate global economic growth and accelerate recovery from the "Covid-19" pandemic.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the continuous growth and development in the levels of second cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including the economy.

For his part, Dr. Robert Habeck wished the UAE progress, growth and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, offering condolences to His Highness on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked Habik for his good feelings towards the UAE leadership, government and people, stressing that the Emirati-German strategic partnership has yielded many achievements in all fields.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Climate Change and Environment Maryam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Muhairi, and UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany Hafsa Abdullah Al Olama.
