The second tape judged in the fall

On Tuesday, the prosecution indicated that the members of one of the two rival gangs suspected of having participated in these armed clashes will be tried in June.

The alleged members of the second team, confused in particular thanks to the decryption of Sky ECC telephones often used by the criminals, could meanwhile be judged during a separate trial in the fall of 2022, specified the public prosecutor of Besançon. , Etienne Coats.

The decision to judge these two bands, at the origin of a "turf war" which had left eleven injured and one dead, during two separate trials, was taken in particular for reasons of "security, given the antagonism between these two teams,” he explained.

Regarding the first gang, its nine main alleged organizers will be tried before the Besançon criminal court from June 13 to 16.

The defendants, seven of whom are in pre-trial detention, are being prosecuted for "drug trafficking", "criminal association" and "aggravated willful violence, in a meeting and with a weapon", added the prosecutor.

In addition, eight minors from the same team will be tried in the juvenile court at a later date and ten "second knives" will then be tried during a so-called plea-guilty procedure, concluded the magistrate.
