Turkey wants to receive written guarantees from Finland and Sweden before their inclusion in NATO

As the minister clarified, Ankara's demands will concern the support by Finland and Sweden of organizations recognized as terrorist in Turkey, as well as the lifting of the arms embargo.

The administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan previously reported that Sweden supplied weapons to terrorists who carried out terrorist attacks on Turkish territory.

According to Erdgan, Turkey will continue to fight the PKK and its offshoots, despite the support they receive from the United States and Europe.
