“The sale process will begin immediately and follows Sulzer's announcement earlier this year of a significant reduction in business activity in Russia.
The Board of Directors regrets the need for this decision after decades of operation in Russia,” the company said in a statement.
The company expressed its gratitude to all employees and announced its readiness to support 300 of its employees in Russia.
Prior to this, the Japanese concern Bridgestone announced that it was suspending the production of car tires on Russian territory, as well as deliveries to Russia and future investments.
