The President of South Africa spoke about the damage to the country from anti-Russian sanctions

“Even countries that are not involved in the conflict are being harmed by the sanctions imposed against Russia,” TASS quoted him as saying after talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Ramaphosa added that South Africa is in favor of an early diplomatic settlement of the situation around Ukraine.

Earlier, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Oleg Ozerov said that the West is putting pressure on African countries to refuse economic cooperation with Russia.
