The Palestinian Authority asked Washington to remove the name of the Liberation Organization from the US terrorist lists, while the Palestinian national and Islamic forces denounced the Jewish flags march scheduled for next Sunday on the anniversary of Israel's occupation of Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Authority said that it had officially asked Washington to remove the name of the Liberation Organization from the lists of terrorism, and this came in a tweet on Twitter by a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein al-Sheikh.

It is noteworthy that the US Congress included the PLO among the terrorist movements in 1975.

Hussein Al-Sheikh said that this classification is unfair, unjust and surprising, at a time when "the Kach terrorist organization is being crossed out" from those lists.

The US State Department had announced the removal of 5 organizations from the list of foreign terrorist organizations, including the extremist Jewish Kach movement, which is classified as a terrorist list in Europe and even in Israel.

In another matter, the Israeli Border Police summoned 3 reserve battalions by an exceptional order to secure the march of Jewish flags scheduled for next Sunday, coinciding with the anniversary of Israel's occupation of the city of Jerusalem.

Earlier, Israeli Minister of Internal Security Omer Bar-Lev said that the march will be organized according to its traditional route from the western part of Jerusalem to Bab al-Amud, and it will pass through the Old City of occupied Jerusalem and end at the Al-Buraq Wall plaza.

On the other hand, the Follow-up Committee of the National and Islamic Forces in the Gaza Strip warned of the consequences of any attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque or the establishment of Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.

The committee said that organizing the march of flags and threats by settlers to enter the Temple Mount and to start demolishing the Dome of the Rock on the 29th of this month would drag the entire region towards escalation and confrontation.

The Follow-up Committee of the National and Islamic Forces called on the Palestinians to confront the occupation's attempts to attack Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to travel to it to defend the right of the Palestinian people to their Islamic and Christian sanctities.

In a related context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 3 Palestinians were injured in clashes with the occupation forces in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood in Jenin.

During the incursion, an Israeli force arrested the young man, Muhammad Husam al-Toubasi, the brother of the two martyrs, Islam and Ahmad al-Tubasi, leaders of Saraya al-Quds.

During the incursion, clashes were recorded between resistance fighters and the occupation forces, which withdrew from the area after arresting Al-Tubasi.
