• Pakistan They investigate as an "honor crime" the murder of two Pakistani-Spanish sisters by their family

The Mossos d'Esquadra have summoned

relatives

of the two Pakistani sisters

residing in Terrassa

(Barcelona) murdered in their country of origin to testify in order to determine their degree of collaboration in their trip.

Sources close to the case have explained to Europa Press this Tuesday that the Catalan police are investigating the events and have detailed their interest in

determining if they were forced to travel there or if they were convinced of it.

Presumably the women's in-laws, residents of Pakistan,

murdered them for demanding a divorce after a forced marriage a year ago

, and the Punjab Police have arrested six people for these events, as reported by the police force in a collected tweet by Europe Press.

As explained by the Pakistani newspaper

Dawn

, the in-laws suspected that they had allegedly intentionally delayed the processing of their husbands' visas so that they could travel to Spain, and that they

were murdered for not wanting to take them with them

.

Also, according to the same newspaper, the families brought the sisters back to Pakistan a few days ago, and they were found tortured and dead in their home on Friday.
