China Overseas Chinese Network, May 24. According to the WeChat public account of “Italian Chinatown”, a man in Naples, Italy, broke into a Chinese store with an axe to rob recently and was subsequently arrested.

  It is reported that when the gendarmerie caught him in a shop on via Turati street, they found that he had been sentenced to surveillance measures, but was still out to commit the crime.

On the day of the crime, the 40-year-old man wielded a medieval battle axe and broke into a Chinese merchandise department store, demanding that the owner hand over the income that day.

Although the store owner was frightened, he did not give in, but resisted the robbers.

  According to reports, the gendarmerie patrol of the Sant'Antimo police station was not far from the store and saw some passers-by pouring out of the store, attracting the attention of the gendarmerie.

After the gendarmerie entered the shop, disarmed and handcuffed the robber, the shopkeeper suffered minor injuries that will heal after five days of rest.

The 40-year-old robber was arrested on robbery charges and placed under house arrest awaiting trial.
