A thousand thousand, but now the oven is really off.
So far, from the perspective of the Frankfurt SPD, it was apparently only trivial offenses that Comrade Mayor Feldmann was accused of.
Even the prosecutor's investigation into accepting an advantage;
the search of his offices - none of this was a reason for the Social Democrats to really distance themselves from the mayor.
But now, after another Feldmann-typical embarrassment, a stupid joke on the plane to Seville at the expense of the flight attendants, the maximum political penalty is threatened.
Violent allegations of corruption and the AWO swamp are apparently rather normal for the Frankfurt SPD;
a joke for which the mayor at least immediately apologized must now serve as a reason for the demand for immediate resignation.
Feldmann has long been out of action – and not just hormonally.
He managed in an impressive way to win two elections without the establishment, and he continues to show - the municipal order makes it possible - his independence.
Unfortunately, in the Feldmann case, this also means independence from justice and dignity.
He knows no measure.
But neither does the SPD.
You also have to be able to weigh missteps.
The Frankfurt Social Democrats, who apparently now want to present themselves as particularly woman-friendly, mock all citizens.
