The 18-year-old defendant was in Paris when she used her Uber Eats account to place an order for a friend, who was in Mayenne.
Absent at the hearing, she had confided during the investigation that she had very few memories of the evening, and had tried to blame it on a young man with whom she was with that evening, who would have used his telephone.
Arguments that did not convince the court.
The young woman was sentenced for "non-public insult due to origin, ethnicity, nation, race or religion", reports the daily.
The delivery man has since changed jobs.
