Did Nelson David MB

act alone

in the alleged murder of a music teacher in Bilbao, two attempted murders and three other deaths considered "natural" when they occurred?

He kept moving like a lone wolf for months through Catalonia, Murcia and probably Brussels without any coverage?

The Ertzaintza

and the Court of Instruction number 6 in Bilbao maintain an iron silence but, between the lines, the Security Minister Josu Erkoreka has acknowledged that "everything points to the fact that those involved have moved to other territories".

The Basque Police are searching, in collaboration with other police forces and especially the

Mossos de Esquadra

, clues about those "same implicated" who would have intervened in the "ramifications" of the crimes allegedly committed by Nelson David.

The alleged serial killer of gay citizens whom he robbed has been in prison since May 7 in the Basauri prison.

Nelson David entered a special cell with the accompaniment of a trusted prisoner who, through a methacrylate screen, has supervised his rapid adaptation to life behind bars.

Calm and relaxed in prison, the 25-year-old appeared at the Irún police station on the night of May 5 after seeing his photograph and his identity published as the author of serious crimes against homosexual men residing in Bilbao.

Nelson David assured then that he was innocent although almost twenty days later, the Ertzaintza already recognizes the possible existence of "involved" in this criminal plot.

Erkoreka's explanations in the Basque Parliament have been produced by the initiative of the representative of PP+C's Luis Gordillo who has defended the need to activate Joint Investigation Teams (JIT) with the State Security Forces after opening new avenues of investigation with similar events in Catalonia.

Last week the Mossos de Esquadra confirmed the existence of two complaints at the

Pineda and Gracia police stations in Barcelona

with events similar to those linked to the detainee.

In addition, one of the complainants came to identify Nelson David as the alleged aggressor.

Erkoreka has confirmed that the Ertzaintza works "bilaterally" with another police force without specifying whether they are the Mossos de Esquadra while maintaining open data communication with the rest of the Spanish police.

"We may have errors, but we have discovered a case here that may have an impact in other territories," Erkoreka confirmed that he has avoided giving details in a judicial investigation that continues under summary secrecy.

The events for which Nelson David has been imprisoned date back to the fall and winter of 2021 when he allegedly attacked up to three men in Bilbao with the aim of robbing them.

The suspect dated his victims through gay hookup apps and drugged them with liquid ecstasy.

The Ertzaintza investigates his participation in four deaths and two failed attempts, but Erkoreka has opened up to other possible "involved" his participation in similar crimes that have occurred in other parts of Spain.

The Basque Police assumes that the investigation will be

"long and complex"

.

A police work that began in November 2021, that a month later the investigating judge ordered the search and capture of the suspect and that on May 5 turned around when the alleged perpetrator of the crimes appeared at an Ertzaintza police station in Irún, the border town where he distributed roast chickens on an electric scooter.
