President Yoon Seok-yeol said, "It seems that we need a little more time" regarding the future of Chung Ho-young, the Minister of Health and Welfare nominee.



President Yoon met with reporters on the way to work on the morning of the 23rd and answered a question asking about the future of candidate Chung.



Regarding the IPEF inauguration summit to be attended by video this afternoon, President Yoon said, "(IPEF) is the process of making a wide range of rules related to economy and trade in the Indo-Pacific region." Regarding the memorial service held this afternoon for the late former President Roh Moo-hyun, he said, "It is a very sad and tragic event in Korean politics."



The 13th anniversary of the late former President Roh Moo-hyun, held in Bonghama Village in Gimhae this afternoon, will be attended by Prime Minister Han Deok-soo and Minister of Public Administration Lee Sang-min from the government, and Chief of Staff Kim Dae-ki and Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Lee Jin-bok from the presidential office.



The People's Power leadership will also attend the memorial service.
