Manturov invited BRICS to create processing plants without "unreliable partners"

But we have the opportunity to shift towards higher-margin products obtained from deep processing of oil and gas.

In this part, there are good opportunities to create joint ventures that cover all our needs without the participation of external unreliable partners,” Manturov said at a meeting with the ministers of industry of the BRICS countries.

On May 19, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that the Chinese side proposes to start the process of expanding the BRICS.

Moscow noted that the BRICS countries had already become the core of a multipolar world.

According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the BRICS countries are likely to become the basis of a new world order.
