No News from Dior The most LOC Moments of Esperanza Aguirre
Esperanza Aguirre (70 years old) has seven siblings and at this point in the film we still have a few to discover.
At this moment José Luis (65 years old, the third after her, who is the oldest), is on the news because he has brought his contemporary art fair,
FLECHA, to Barcelona for the first time
: it will be open until May 28 at the Arenas shopping center, in the old bullring.
"There you will find work by local artists but also by international artists based in Barcelona. There are well-known authors such as
Isabel Muñoz, Jesús Curiá, Eduardo Vega de Seoane
...".
José Luis organizes Flecha, which was born as a kind of off-Broadway of the ARCO fair (that's why it's called FLECHA), for 31 years.
He started in the Arturo Soria Plaza in Madrid, which once belonged in part to the in-laws of his sister Piedy, the Caveros.
They encouraged him to organize something in his facilities to attract public.
"These shopping centers thus act as patrons and gain prestige," he maintains.

FLECHA, which
also tours Bilbao and Palma de Mallorca
, has a physical gallery in Madrid and also sells online.
The fair takes a commission for each work sold, which has been moving around the world for some time.
Right now he is in Lisbon, after passing through London, Miami and Lille (France).
In its first editions, the brother of the former president of the Community of Madrid only dedicated himself to FLECHA about three months a year.
Since 2014 he has occupied all his time.
He previously made a living from his work as an artist
, when he signed his prints and sculptures as Jaelius.
"Drawing comes from school. I remember that I enriched the illustrations in textbooks. I also did their art work for my sisters."
He was one of the most rebellious sons of the Aguirre Gil de Biedma family.
He had long hair (he got kicked out of the house for it) and
played guitar in a jazzy pop group called Bajas Pasiones.
.
In the 1980s he finished Law, but tried to work in the company where his father and grandfather made a career (Minero Siderúrgica de Ponferrada) and he did not fit in.
He then decided to go to New York, where he enrolled in the Arts Student League.
"There I learned a lot, everything was so free... They gave me an engraving scholarship. I discovered the nude technique, anatomy and life drawing with real figures, something that I still practice and I love. They also taught me to paint in oil ".
Among his friends at that time were several
protagonists of the Madrid Movida
, from his cousin Ouka Leele, to the artists Ceesepe and Hortelano, the members of the Radio Futura band... He even worked in film production with José Luis Borau.
He married fellow artist Verónica Verónica Díaz de Bustamante, with whom he has three daughters.
The eldest, Violeta Maya, is a painter and sculptor and has just been signed by the Alzueta gallery.
"Despite currently being a gallery owner, I don't have a large collection of my own. I'm not a business shark. Rather than being paid on the job, what I do is exchange my work for that of other artists. I'll tell you that right
now at home the most valued work I have is made by me.
"
Separated from his first wife, José Luis
is out today with Pilar Cavero, a former lawyer at Cuatrecasas
and a partner at Subastas Segre.
With her he shares her artistic sensitivity.
He says he has constant contact with his seven brothers.
"We see each other whenever we can. At Christmas at my mother's house, who is very old. And the rest of the year at Santiago's, Piedy's or Esperanza's house. That the eight of us are alive is lucky and that we get along, much more ".
With the former president he has a great relationship.
"I didn't know I went to an Amazon Prime cooking contest. How horny! We recently ran into each other on a bird and coincidentally our seats were next to each other!"

Like so many people from Madrid, José Luis Aguirre
is a fan of Ayuso
.
"I admire that she says what she thinks and does it, in that she resembles my sister, it is something out of the ordinary. Now there is much more censorship than in the Movida", he denounces.
He is proud to be family of who he is.
"Indeed, being one gives you notoriety, but we have tried not to show it off so as not to harm her or ourselves."
We asked him about another famous brother, that of the current president of the Community:
Tomás Díaz Ayuso.
"The important thing is to know if he has done something illegal or not. Using someone's name doesn't seem bad to me, on the other hand, if that is used to discredit the political opponent or your own party partner (...). What if someone Has he approached me for being Esperanza's brother?... Look, I'll answer you with another question: Would you be interviewing me if I wasn't?"
