Leaders of the ruling and opposition parties, including the People's Power and the Democratic Party of Korea, will attend the 13th anniversary of the death of former President Roh Moo-hyun, held today (23rd) in Bonghama Village, Gimhae, Gyeongnam.



The Democratic Party's leadership and party lawmakers gather in large numbers, including joint emergency countermeasures chairman Yun Ho-jung and Park Ji-hyun, floor leader Park Hong-geun, and general election countermeasure chairman Lee Jae-myung.



Party elders, including former Chairman Lee Hae-chan, former Prime Minister Han Myung-sook, and former National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang, will also be present.



In particular, former President Moon Jae-in, who returned to Yangsan, Gyeongnam after his tenure on the 10th, also plans to attend the memorial service.



This is the first public event to attend after leaving office, and it is the first time in five years since 2017 that Moon will attend a memorial service for former President Roh.



In Power of the People, Representative Lee Jun-seok and floor leader Kwon Seong-dong visit the memorial service.



Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who served as the head of the Office of Government Policy Coordination, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy, and Prime Minister of the Roh Moo-hyun government will also attend.



In the presidential office, chief of staff Kim Dae-gi and senior political affairs chief Lee Jin-bok will attend.
