Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Ismail Haniyeh said that the Palestinian resistance has moved the battle to the inside of the Israeli entity and to every inch of the land of Palestine.

In his speech during a national conference organized by the movement on the first anniversary of the Israeli war on Gaza, Haniyeh added that the "Battle of the Sword of Jerusalem" struck the theory of deterrence and the blitzkrieg that Israel followed.

He pointed out that one of its results is the unification of the land, the people and the cause and the removal of geographical barriers within Palestine.

Haniyeh also stressed that "Hamas will never allow the erosion of Al-Aqsa and the arrogance in the streets of Jerusalem," as he put it.

"We are not just talking and our actions precede our words, and our struggle with the Zionist occupier has entered a new phase," he said.

Haniyeh addressed his speech to Israel, saying, "I say clearly and warn the enemy against taking such steps. The Palestinian people and the resistance will not allow that."

Haniyeh said, "We are following the new threats and the continuous threats to storm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque," and called on the Palestinians to be fully prepared in order not to allow the occupation to tamper with the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He considered that the Palestine issue "as an issue of national liberation has re-emerged in an image of unity and cohesion after the Battle of the Sword of Jerusalem," stressing that the resistance will not allow Al-Aqsa to be persecuted and arrogance in occupied Jerusalem.
