Around 230 drivers have in total gone to Helsingborg to compete in motocross, many domestic but also from the rest of Europe.

For Helsingborg's motocross club, the planning ahead has only been intensive, with over six months just for planning.

Wonderful conditions

On Sunday, it was heat for ladies in the European Championships and men in the Swedish Championships.

That there was a great uproar was clear.

- It was spontaneous.

We drove past and saw that they were a lot of cars, says Rickard Ekman who with his family took a turn to Välabanan after having been shopping.

Lena Wisak has watched motocross for almost 50 years and has relatives who ride.

She enjoyed the sun.

- Totally amazing.

Both the environment and the weather - Helsingborgs motocross delivers, says visitor Lena.

Second place for Matilda Huss

A Norwegian was the winner after two heats in the EMX competition - Mathea Selebø.

But Matilda Huss from Uppsala was close, in her first European Championships.

- The first heat felt great but the second heat I had a little hard to get over.

I could have kept her behind me otherwise, she says.
