The Palestinian presidency expressed its condemnation and disapproval of the US State Department's decision to remove the Israeli terrorist Kach movement from the lists of foreign terrorist organizations.

The presidency added that the decision is a reward for the activists of this terrorist organization, such as Itamar Ben Gvir, who is causing corruption and incitement in the occupied Palestinian cities.

The Palestinian presidency also called on the US administration to reverse its decision, which it described as dangerous, and for the US administration to take the correct historical decision to remove the Palestine Liberation Organization from its lists of terrorist organizations.

She added that at a time when President Joe Biden spoke with President Mahmoud Abbas, stressing his commitment and adherence to the two-state solution and not compromising the historical situation in the Haram al-Sharif, and his rejection of settlement, expulsion of residents, house demolitions, and unilateral actions - and this was what Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken confirmed to President Abbas on his official visit. The presidency affirmed that the PLO, by consensus of the world, is a true partner for making peace based on international legitimacy resolutions to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders, noting that Palestine is a state recognized by the United Nations General Assembly as an observer member since 2012, and is bound by the law international law and international legitimacy and peace based on justice.
