The Palestinian presidency also called on the US administration to reverse its decision, which it described as dangerous, and for the US administration to take the correct historical decision to remove the Palestine Liberation Organization from its lists of terrorist organizations.

The presidency affirmed that the PLO, by consensus of the world, is a true partner for making peace based on international legitimacy resolutions to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders, noting that Palestine is a state recognized by the United Nations General Assembly as an observer member since 2012, and is bound by the law international law and international legitimacy and peace based on justice.
